Water, fire damage or mold: you do not need to know which before you call
People delay because they are working out whether it is a plumber, a roofer, a restoration company or an insurance problem. It is usually two or three of those. Meanwhile mold can start within 48 hours, and soot turns permanent on metal and stone within days.
Answered any hour by a person. Not a voicemail box and not a national call center.
You do not need a diagnosis to call. Working out what you are actually dealing with is our job.
One number covers all of it. Water, fire, storm and mold, and the rebuild afterwards.

One number covers water, fire, storm and mold
You do not have to work out which one it is before you call. Most losses turn out to be two or three of them at once, and sorting that is our job.
One company manages the entire project. Emergency response through to the finished repairs.
Licensed general contractors in both states. No handover to a second firm halfway through.
IICRC certified crews. Across water, fire and applied microbial remediation.

After a disaster, be careful who knocks on your door
It happens here after every major storm. Out-of-area crews turn up within days. They knock on doors, ask for a large deposit, and push you to sign while you are still shaken. Washington's Department of Financial Institutions publishes guidance on this exact pattern, and it is no different across the Idaho line.
Registered and verifiable. Check us at Washington L&I or on the Idaho register before you sign.
IICRC certified. Ask to see it, from us or from anyone else who knocks on your door.
No large deposit up front. Legitimate restoration is invoiced, and usually settled through the claim.

We deal with your insurer so you do not have to
Most emergency restoration is billed through an insurance claim, and the documentation is what decides how much of it gets paid.
Photographed and filmed. The whole loss, before anything is moved.
Moisture logged daily. Readings through the dry-out, handed over at the end.
Scoped in Xactimate. So your adjuster can approve it without a second site visit.

Frequently asked questions
What is disaster restoration?
Returning a building to pre loss condition after water, fire, storm or mold. It runs in two halves: mitigation stops the damage spreading, reconstruction rebuilds what was lost.
How quickly can you respond?
Most of the Spokane area, Coeur d'Alene and Post Falls is inside an hour. Rural communities take longer but get the same crews. During a region-wide event we triage by severity and tell you where you are.
Should I call my insurance company or a restoration company first?
Call for restoration first if the building is actively taking damage, because every policy requires you to prevent further damage. Then call your insurer. We can document the loss while you are on hold.
Do you handle the cleanup and the rebuild?
Yes. We are licensed general contractors in Washington and Idaho, so mitigation and reconstruction run under one contract. That is not standard in this market.
What does emergency restoration cost?
Board up, extraction and drying equipment are usually a modest fraction of the job and nearly always covered as emergency mitigation.
Is the damage covered by insurance?
Sudden and accidental events generally are: burst pipes, fire, wind. Gradual seepage, deferred maintenance and outside flooding usually are not, and flooding needs a separate policy.

What to do before we arrive
People first. Get everyone out if the structure is compromised, there is smoke, or water is near wiring or a panel. Do not go back in for belongings. Then kill the source if it is safe: water main off at the shutoff, gas off if you smell it, power off at the breaker if water is near it. Do not start cleaning up; photograph and film everything first, because that is what the claim is settled on. Then call.
How our dispatch actually works
You reach a person, not a phone tree. We take the address and the type of damage, dispatch the nearest certified crew, and give you a realistic arrival window. The first visit is about making it safe and stopping it getting worse. We check hazards, stop the source, pump standing water, and board up or tarp where the building is open. Then we map the moisture, so we know what is actually wet before anything is torn out.
How to check any contractor, including us
In Washington, L&I verifies a contractor's license, bond and insurance in about thirty seconds at secure.lni.wa.gov/verify. Idaho keeps its own separate register, and plenty of operators hold only one. Do it before you sign anything. Ask for IICRC certification, which is separate from a contractor license. Refuse to pay a large deposit in cash; legitimate restoration is usually billed through your carrier. Do not sign a broad assignment of benefits handing your claim to a company you met an hour ago. And prefer a company with a defined service area and local crews. If they cannot tell you where their equipment is stored, it is not stored near you.
Sewage and biohazard cleanup
A sewer backup or a failed septic line is category three water from the moment it arrives, which means it is handled under protocol rather than simply extracted. The area is contained, porous material that absorbed it comes out rather than being dried in place, hard surfaces are washed and then disinfected, and the crew works in full protective gear. The same applies to other biohazard work. This is not a job to start with a shop vacuum while you wait for someone to call back.
