Spokane has real basements, and that changes the job
Most of the West does not build below grade. Spokane does, and much of that housing predates 1950. A supply line lets go in an unheated basement during a January cold snap and runs into finished space nobody is standing in. Below-grade drying takes longer, and the wet part is usually in the cavity rather than the carpet.

Most restoration companies stop when the building is dry and hand you to a general contractor you have to find yourself. We are licensed general contractors in Washington and Idaho, so the crew that extracts the water is the crew that puts the drywall, flooring and cabinetry back, to pre loss condition. What we get called out for in Spokane

The work that does not fit a category
Sewage backups and other biohazard cleanup are handled under protocol rather than with a shop vacuum: the area is contained, porous material that absorbed it comes out, hard surfaces are washed and then disinfected, and the crew works in full protective gear. Contents worth saving are inventoried and packed out to be cleaned off site. All reconstruction work is warrantied, so if something we installed fails, we come back.
